A new opportunity has become available for a Solicitor to join this tier 1 Infrastructure Projects team, the ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of relevant PQE and the role could be based from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The Scottish infrastructure team is highly active across the UK and Ireland, advising a broad mix of private and public sector clients on infrastructure projects across all markets. Their work ranges from procurement/bid phase, through construction, into operation and now onto handback and expiry. They cover student accommodation DBFO procurements and regularly advises both Universities and private sector clients.

They are now looking to appoint an ambitious qualified lawyer who wishes to advance their abilities in Infrastructure Projects, and knowledge at a top tier international law practice.  The successful applicant will primarily support on student accommodation projects but may also be involved in district heating projects, University-focussed net zero initiatives and will be expected to support the wider Scottish team on PPP and general infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland.  The successful applicant will also benefit from opportunities to travel to university campuses around the UK.

The ideal candidate will:

• have gained experience in a large commercial firm working on long-term infrastructure partnership projects
• have a strong academic background, attention to detail and excellent communication and organisational skills
• have good commercial awareness and be client focused
• be a team player with the ability to forge strong working relationships with colleagues in an agile environment
• be well-organised and have good project management skills
