Lusona Financial Services are working exclusively with a prestigious firm of chartered financial planners, with an office in Glasgow. They have gone through a recent growth phase and in turn, they are now looking for an experienced IFA practice manager to manage the business systems and operations, support company directors and oversee the operations team.

The business provides financial planning services to individuals, families, and businesses across Scotland. They pride themselves on their status as independent financial advisers and on being able to offer bespoke financial solutions to their clients.

As the practice manager, you will have a variety of responsibilities including:

• Compliance - GABRIEL returns, PI renewals, GDPR, Anti-money laundering training
• Company Finances - dealing with day to day income and commissions, dealing with incoming and outgoing payments, preparing figures for the directors, RMAR returns
• HR - dealing with recruitment, staff onboarding, staff exits, managing holiday log, and sickness log
• IT - website updates, staff IT training, purchase of hardware/software, deal with any system issues
• Other duties - prepare for board meetings, collating any relevant data for directors, and support other departments in busy times ie tax year-end

As an employer, the company has a strong track record of training and developing staff. The training and development allow people to either grow within their existing role or to train into new positions within the organisation. 

You must have experience working as a manager within either a wealth management or financial planning business. 

A salary of £35,000 to £45,000 has been budgeted for this role, beyond which there is a company bonus scheme and excellent benefits.
