As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Co-ordinator to join their Operations Shared Service team in Livingston.

 

The Role

Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and compliance of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior-level professional looking to develop their career in a dynamic and values-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting management with HSEQ compliance and policy alignment.
  • Assisting with internal audits, inspections, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supporting accident and incident investigations and reporting.
  • Coordinating training requirements and promoting continuous professional development.
  • Maintaining H&S accreditations and compiling monthly HSE statistics.
  • Advising on Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Conducting site visits and subcontractor audits across UK locations.

 What you'll need to succeed

Essential:

  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a clean UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Experience in the construction industry
