As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Co-ordinator to join their Operations Shared Service team in Livingston.
The Role
Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and compliance of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior-level professional looking to develop their career in a dynamic and values-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting management with HSEQ compliance and policy alignment.
- Assisting with internal audits, inspections, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Supporting accident and incident investigations and reporting.
- Coordinating training requirements and promoting continuous professional development.
- Maintaining H&S accreditations and compiling monthly HSE statistics.
- Advising on Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Conducting site visits and subcontractor audits across UK locations.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role.
- Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a clean UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
- Experience in the construction industry
