Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join their team and lead the HR function through a period of significant growth and change. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for employee engagement, compensation and benefits, and procedural and process development. They will also have a proven track record of building and growing HR teams and working closely with the board to develop an effective and efficient HR function across a multi site operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives
  • Lead the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to drive employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention
  • Manage and administer the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and attractive to top talent
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
  • Work closely with the board of directors to develop and implement an HR strategy that supports the company's strategic goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the management team on all HR-related matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Management, with a proven track record of success
  • A background in a manufacturing, production or engineering business
  • Previous experience in multi site operations
  • Experience in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives
  • Expertise in compensation and benefits management
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing HR team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
