Group Financial Accountant
Renfrewshire with hybrid working
Salary £50k to £65k
Lusona is supporting one of our clients in the manufacturing sector to source suitable applicants for the post of Group Financial Accountant. Reporting to the FD, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the group finance function and offering financial support for the group led companies.
The main remit will include:
- Monthly preparation, development, and reporting of group financial results
- Reviewing monthly management accounts of subsidiaries and production of variance analysis to quick results and balance sheet variance analysis to budget
- Treasury management of group cash resources in conjunction with the FD
- Annual consolidation, production, and reporting of group financial results
- Year-end compliance and management of the end-to-end year-end process including day to day relationships with external auditors
- Management and reviewing corporate tax process and computations for all group companies
- Monthly reporting and review of group forecast
- Management, development and closeout of annual group budgeting and business planning cycle in conjunction with subsidiary finance teams
- Creation and management of the budget for the group led companies
- Implementing group accounting policies throughout the group finance function
It is essential that applicants are fully Qualified, ideally ICAS and have strong technical accounting skills. Candidates must have industry experience.
