An unusual opportunity is currently available for an Associate to join the Commercial Litigation team within this leading offshore law firm based in Jersey in the Channel Islands. Applicants will either be Newly Qualified or have up to c4 years of relevant PQE - financial services disputes and FS regulatory experience are both essential.

The dispute resolution and litigation practice represents clients across the full spectrum of contentious and semi-contentious work.  They are widely recognised for expertise in both international and domestic cases, including investment funds, corporate, commercial and civil disputes, banking, financial services and trusts litigation, fraud and asset tracing claims, regulatory investigations, employment disputes and advisory work.

The successful candidate will work closely with a Partner who specialises in advising Jersey finance industry clients and international clients on financial services related disputes whether civil, criminal, contentious regulatory or a combination. This includes advisory work and advocacy.

They have specific expertise in advising on money laundering matters (including corruption), regulatory and compliance investigations, disputes in the banking, trusts and funds sectors, sanctions, production orders including TIEA work, insider dealing, reporting duties, asset recovery, reciprocal enforcement, cyber related risk and international mutual assistance generally.
