An excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified Accountant to join an award-winning global corporate, based in Glasgow. You will help to manage a team of qualified and part qualified accountants in order to complete the financial accounting and reporting for compensation and benefits on a global basis. This role will involve a lot of people management, where you will have direct reports. Your responsibilities will include:
Applicants should be qualified accountants (ACCA/CIMA/CA). Those working within Accountancy Practice (Big 4/National Firm Level) or relevant industry will be considered. However, it is preferable that you have obtained experience of accounting and reporting within a global corporate/financial services environment. It is particularly important that you have strong people management skills e.g., accustomed to having various direct reports. Likewise, applicants must have strong excel and data analytics skills to manage complex spreadsheets and conflicting deadlines.
