An excellent opportunity for a part qualified or qualified Accountant to join an award-winning global corporate, based in Glasgow. You will partner with the wider team across the business in order to complete the financial accounting and reporting for compensation and benefits on a global basis. Working as part of a close-knit team, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out cyclical monthly reporting, as well as additional quarterly reporting requirements
• Reconciling the general ledger 
• Preparing data that will allow other stakeholders to complete tax calculations and reporting aspects
• Enhancing systems and overall process improvement
• Collaborating with various financial and non-financial stakeholders who are required to understand the accounting and reporting produced by the team

Applicants should ideally be qualified accountants (ACCA/CIMA/CA)or working towards their professional qualification. Those working within Accountancy Practice or industry will be considered. However, it is preferable that you have obtained experience of accounting and reporting within a financial services environment. It is important to have strong excel experience and as such have the ability to work with complex spreadsheets. Likewise, you will be able to manage working towards often tight and conflicting deadlines.
