An excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join an award-winning global corporate, based in Glasgow. Working as part of a close-knit team you will assist with the preparation of financial statements for a group of hedge fund clients and auditors. This position offers a mixture of financial statement preparation and regulatory reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop existing technical accounting skills in a dynamic, forward-thinking business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing financial statements for a portfolio of clients on an interim and annual basis
• Preparing year-end packs for specific hedge fund clients
• Corresponding regulatory reporting for financial statements produced
• Collaborating with management in relation to any reporting or audit queries
• Continuously improving financial processes to increase efficiency
• Maintaining and developing your technical knowledge and skills

Applicants should be qualified accountants (ACCA/CIMA/CA), however qualified by experience applicants will also be considered. Ideally you will have a background working within an accountancy practice environment (audit or accounts preparation) or financial services. This is ideal for an ambitious newly qualified accountant looking to make their first move from practice. You will have the ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team, where you will collaborate with various stakeholders and work towards tight reporting deadlines.
