Financial Reporting Accountant

Financial Reporting Accountant required for the Finance Function of this Global Listed Company. Based in Glasgow City Centre, you will work as part of close-knit local team, as well as collaborate with other departments internationally. As such you will be involved in preparing the annual financial documents and corresponding regulatory reports.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the trial balance and financial statements
• Producing corresponding regulatory reports
• Assisting with the information needed to prepare any tax computations
• Keeping up to date with local regulatory reporting requirements
• Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business internationally
• Continuously driving process improvement across the team via the systems used, in order to aid further efficiency.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA), ideally with Accounting and Reporting experience gained within a large corporate environment. This role is also suitable for qualified accountants looking to transition from their current role within Accountancy Practice. You will be a strong technical accountant, excellent excel skills and enjoy collaborating as part of a wider team to drive continuous improvement.
