Financial Regulatory Reporting Manager - Glasgow - up to £65k + Benefits - Permanent
Join our Glasgow financial services client as Regulatory Reporting Manager. You will work within the growing External Reporting team with responsibility for preparing financial disclosures including statistical reporting produced in accordance with Financial Regulatory reporting to European Regulators.
This role is varied in nature, with the following responsibilities:
- Oversight of the production process within the team, providing support and guidance to ensure delivery against production timetables.
- Managing a team of four, including coaching and mentoring
- Preparing and Reviewing Regulatory Balance Sheet-based external reporting
- Reviewing commentary and analysis to support the reporting.
- Trouble-shooting data issues during quarterly production through effective communication and escalation to local line management
- Responding to review questions raised on disclosures produced.
- Presenting disclosures and analytics to senior management
- Input towards projects such as implementing evolving regulatory requirements and production process improvements.
About you….
- Experience of financial/regulatory reporting within Financial Services, or large-firm external audit
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong work ethic with an ability to take responsibility for completing tasks and working to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to challenge issues and processes.
- The ability to work autonomously.
