The Opportunity
Join a financial services leader as part of their dynamic Finance team. Based in Glasgow, this critical function within the Finance department oversees financial accounting, control, and reporting for compensation and benefits worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial professional to manage and enhance key processes in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting, reporting, and analysis, including management of a team of two
- Analyse large datasets to deliver insights to various global stakeholders.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts through automation and process enhancements.
- Participate in key departmental and cross-functional projects.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in firm-wide initiatives, providing guidance on compensation and benefits reporting.
- Managing relationships with stakeholders in both the UK and overseas
What We’re Looking For
- CA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Experience in operational finance processes, controls, and reporting whether that be in-house or from audit within practice
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise messages.
- Risk awareness and excellent guardianship abilities.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
