Financial Controller – hybrid working with one or two days per week in Fife.   

Salary up to £65k plus car allowance 

Lusona is working exclusively with one of our clients in the service sector to source suitable applicants for this exciting new role in their management team. This is a hands-on role and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of the company, working closely with the Managing Director and other departments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years experience in an SME.
• A financially savvy individual with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communicator who can translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for business decisions.
• Team player who can build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Managing the entire financial cycle, from bookkeeping and month-end closing to financial reporting and analysis.
• Working with the owner to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Overseeing internal controls and ensuring financial compliance.
• Staying up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
