We are currently recruiting for our client based in Glasgow city centre for an experienced Management Accountant to assist with a project for a fixed term 9-month basis.
Working alongside the Team Manager the Statutory Accountant will take on the preparation of statutory accounts, board reporting, and technical accounting papers
The main duties will include:
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Work closely with external auditors
- Preparation of board reporting
- FCA regulatory reporting
- Impairment calculations
- Earn out calculations
- Technical accounting papers
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Review reconciliations of Balance sheet and Profit & Loss accounts
- Providing overall ad hoc analysis where necessary and communicating process improvements to stakeholders across the business
To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ICAS, have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build a strong rapport with internal stakeholders to influence their decisions, and have advanced Excel skills.
