Finance Risk Project Manager required for the Financial Control team of our Glasgow based large-corporate client.
This role is orientated towards Finance Projects, and is all about:
- Having a portfolio of responsibilities supporting the risk agenda, project management and digital tooling in addition to coverage for certain accounting and reporting processes for a global reporting team.
- Supporting the functional risk lead responsible for delivery of the firm’s risk framework, including establishing centralized risk monitoring
- Leading an initiative to design and build a documentation repository and play a key role in the coordination of enhanced documentation cross the group
- Supporting the expanded use of digital tools including Alteryx and UiPath across the team, including involvement in the build of reporting outputs
- leading or participating in other projects including management of project plans, documentation, and direct ownership for delivery of certain functional initiatives
- Being involved in accounting and reporting for various compensation plans and related investments representing a diverse range of products
About you….
Coming from a background in accounting, you will have experience managing and delivering projects within a Finance function context. Experience of using a digital tool is advantageous but not essential. You will be risk aware and ideally have experience of finance processes, controls and reporting. You will be a self-starter who possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills and is capable of changing priorities as new situations present themselves. You will also be a collaborative team player with a strong work ethic that works effectively in cross-functional team environment.
