Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Renfrewshire. Due to continued investment and growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting operational and commercial decision-making across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and influencing business performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will act as a trusted business partner to operational and departmental leaders, providing financial insight, analysis and challenge to support strategic and operational objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with Operations, Supply Chain and Production teams to drive business performance.
- Providing robust financial analysis and commercial insight to support decision-making.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
- Delivering meaningful KPI reporting and performance analysis.
- Identifying risks, opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
- Analysing manufacturing costs, margins, labour efficiency and business performance trends.
- Developing financial models and business cases to support investment and improvement initiatives.
- Challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders to drive profitability and efficiency.
- Supporting month-end reporting and financial planning activities as required.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
- A fully qualified accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a commercial or operational environment.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG or industrial business.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- The confidence to challenge and influence senior management and operational teams.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI would be advantageous.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commercial mindset.
