Finance Business Analyst

Lusona are delighted to be supporting our global drinks industry client for post of ‘Finance Business Analyst’. An excellent opportunity for a data-focussed finance individual to combine their data analysis and manipulation skills with their understanding of accountancy and finance. You will partner with both financial stakeholders as well as non-financial stakeholders within the area of technology to produce specific management information and financial management packs.

As part of a wider team, your mean responsibilities will include:

• Utilising systems and data sources to produce reports required for the business.
• Assisting with specifications and changes to reporting requirements
• Delivering formal documentation to the business via reports, highlighting any data issues and changes required.
• Assisting with the completion of specification documentation and liaising within business intelligence stakeholders accordingly.
• Building expected results models that can be used to test the developed solution.
• Developing acceptance criteria guidance and input for test scripts
• Ensuring all required documentation is in line with approved document templates.
• Maintaining management reporting packs and relevant changes.
   

Applicants will have previous experience working within a finance environment where they understand and can produce dashboards with management information reporting, P&Ls, the balance sheet and any corresponding financial analysis. For example, this role would be suitable for a previous Business Analyst who has finance experience. Applicants will be highly analytical with the ability to analyse and draw conclusions from large data sets, with excellent excel skills to utilise various formulae and pivot tables. You will have a problem-solving ability to identify appropriate business challenges whilst providing financial and non-financial stakeholders with appropriate documentation.
