Family Law Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) – Glasgow

A leading UK law firm with a strong presence in Scotland is seeking a talented and compassionate Family Law Solicitor to join their highly ranked and dynamic team in Glasgow. This is a rare opportunity to work within one of Scotland's largest and most respected family law practices, known for its client-focused and solution-oriented approach.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload while collaborating with experienced colleagues on a wide range of family law matters. The work includes:

• Advising clients on financial provision upon separation and divorce.
• Representing clients in child-related matters, including residence and contact disputes.
• Drafting financial settlement agreements, pre/post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
• Engaging directly with clients, providing clear, empathetic, and strategic legal advice.
• Participating in court work, including Sheriff Court advocacy and, where appropriate, instructing counsel in Court of Session cases.
• Supporting business development initiatives, contributing to legal updates, blogs, and social media content.

About You

• NQ–4 years PQE in family law.
• Strong client care ethos with a human and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and research skills.
• Confident, collaborative, and proactive.
