Our client is seeking a dedicated Windows and Doors Estimator specialising in Take Offs to join their contracting team in West Lothian. This pivotal role involves preparing cost estimates, technical proposals, and managing project bids. The ideal candidate will bring experience in contract estimation, particularly with manufacturing & packaging projects, ensuring accurate take-offs and quotations to drive winning bids.
- Review Construction Drawings
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and technical proposals based on client specifications
- Liaise with suppliers
- Collaborate with design and project teams to validate scope and technical accuracy
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure new projects
- Procure sample materials and ensure compliance with project requirements
Candidates should have :
Proven experience in estimation with a focus on Take Offs from construction drawings and reviewing specification documents to finalise the details for the estimate. It is desirable to have previous windows and doors experience but this is not essential
