Job Salary:  £48,000 - £52,000 + Pension

Location :  Flexible Office Location (Livingston, Manchester, Birmingham, London – Farringdon, Exeter)

Your new role
As an Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in the pre-construction process, working closely with a collaborative team. You’ll be responsible for:

• Reviewing incoming enquiries and tender documentation
• Responding to customer queries and clarifying project requirements
• Performing accurate take-offs from architectural drawings
• Interpreting and understanding complex drawing packages
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Understanding and compiling PI (Performance Information) packages
• Pulling together full tender submissions and issuing them on time
• Supporting the team in pre-contract meetings and negotiations

What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident working with drawings and technical documents. A background in façades or building envelopes is ideal, but not essential – what matters most is your ability to read between the lines, extract key information, and deliver accurate costings.

• Proven experience in estimating, ideally in commercial or residential construction
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with take-offs and supplier engagement
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, team-first mindset
