The Opportunity
An exciting requirement has arisen for a talented transactional energy projects lawyer with 6-10 years’ PQE to join a dynamic and expanding projects group. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile renewable energy projects across the UK and internationally, with a preference for candidates to join the Scottish team, though other UK locations will also be considered. As part of a market-leading, Tier 1 ranked team, you will collaborate with experts in the field on pioneering energy initiatives, gaining exposure to a diverse range of low-carbon and renewable energy projects, including onshore and offshore wind, battery storage, district heating, and hydrogen developments.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:

Have 6-10 years’ PQE, gained within a large commercial firm, in-house legal team, regulator, or government department.

Possess strong experience in energy-related transactional (non-contentious) work.

Be a team player, able to build strong working relationships across a national and international network.

Demonstrate enthusiasm, engagement, and a proactive approach to career development.

Exhibit technical excellence and sound commercial judgment.

Have exceptional interpersonal skills, essential for a client-facing role.
