Employment Solicitor – Edinburgh (Hybrid Working Available)

A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Employment Solicitor to join its dynamic Employment Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least two years of post-qualification experience to work with a diverse client base, including SMEs, charities, and individuals.
The Role
You will provide high-quality legal advice on a broad range of employment matters, including:
- Disciplinaries, grievances, and terminations
- Employment contracts and workplace policies
- Redundancies, reorganisations, and TUPE
- Settlement agreements and negotiated exits
- Employment Tribunal representation (for both claimants and respondents)
- Corporate support to internal teams
You will also contribute to business development, mentoring junior staff, and promoting the firm’s services through networking and marketing initiatives.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years PQE in employment law
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to meet fee targets and manage caseloads effectively
- Willingness to participate in networking and business development
