The Opportunity

You’ll join a well-established EMEA Corporate Tax team operating across multiple European hubs, supporting c.200 entities in more than 25 jurisdictions. As the Lead, you’ll take ownership of a significant portfolio while leading a talented team of 12, ensuring delivery of high-quality tax outputs and continuous improvement across processes and controls.

What You’ll Lead

  • Oversight of UK and EMEA corporate tax compliance, payments, forecasts, provisioning and reporting.

  • Leadership of a 12-person team, developing capability, performance and succession.

  • Responses to tax authorities and audit enquiries.

  • Technical research and input into wider tax projects and operational model changes.

  • Collaboration with external advisors, auditors and global tax colleagues.

  • Process enhancement and innovation across the tax compliance and reporting cycle.

  • Building strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

What You Bring

  • CTA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification, or extensive relevant experience.

  • Proven experience leading and motivating a tax team in-house or in practice to deliver complex outputs at pace.

  • Strong technical grounding in corporate tax compliance and reporting.

  • Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate complex technical rules clearly.

  • A track record of managing demanding portfolios and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Confidence to challenge existing processes and drive improvements.

  • Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.

Why This Role?

  • Senior influence within a highly visible EMEA-wide tax function.

  • Large, complex international remit—ideal for someone who wants to stretch their capability.

  • Excellent progression prospects and world-class internal training.

  • Hybrid working, modern offices and a genuinely supportive, collaborative culture.

  • Competitive package including bonus and extensive benefits.
