Our client is a leading manufacturer, who as a result of some strong sustained growth, need to appoint an ambitious Electrical Controls Engineer.

Reporting to the senior management team, you will play an integral part in the provision of project specific software for the businesses products. Specifically you shall be responsible for;

• Design control systems by both writing PLC software and creating the HMI interfaces.
• Produce electrical schematics/cabling diagrams/P&IDs using the CAD software
• Programming of control systems compliant with project requirements
• Evaluation and testing functional performance prior to commissioning
• Provide support for sales, purchasing and estimating teams
• Meeting delivery deadlines and project budgets

It is expected that you shall come from an Electrical/Software Engineering background and have demonstrable experience of;

• PLC programming in ladder logic (Siemens, Rockwell & Allen Bradley),

• HMI programming and configuration
