Your new role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will take the lead in driving a proactive safety culture across multiple construction projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK legislation, implementing best-in-class safety procedures, and providing expert guidance to project teams and contractors. This is a career-defining role where you’ll have the autonomy to influence safety strategy and make a real impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and embedding health & safety policies and procedures across projects
  • Leading site inspections, audits, and compliance checks
  • Managing risk assessments and method statements for complex construction activities
  • Delivering engaging training sessions and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness
  • Investigating incidents and producing detailed reports with actionable recommendations
  • Acting as the key liaison with regulatory bodies and ensuring legal compliance

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a health & safety leadership role within construction
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and industry best practice
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to drive cultural change
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to challenge when necessary
