Corporate Tax Senior Manager | Corporate OMB's | Glasgow | Hybrid working

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join a well-established and reputable independent advisory firm. This role is perfect for someone with a strong focus on owner-managed businesses who is passionate about managing complex taxation issues and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise a diverse portfolio of corporate clients on a wide range of taxation issues.
• Specialise in corporate tax compliance services, with a particular focus on owner-managed business groups.
• Work with a variety of clients, including:
  • A manufacturing group with a turnover of > £200mn,
  • A fashion retail group with a turnover of > £50mn.
  • A property development and investment group with a balance sheet value of £50mn.
• Provide expert advice to clients such as capital allowances, business reconstructions, due diligence, and profit extraction.
• Take a lead role in reviewing and signing off work for clients, ensuring high standards and compliance.
• Take a leadership role, including review of work prepared by junior staff, training, mentoring and management of work allocation 

Key Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in tax corporate tax compliance at Manager or Senior Manager grading, 
• Experience in managing a varied client base, including those in manufacturing, retail, and property sectors.
• Ability to advise on complex tax issues such as capital allowances, business reconstructions, and profit extraction (advantageous)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in managing staff and leading projects.
• Experience in risk management and regulatory compliance within a tax setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
