Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join the successful Tax practice of this Big 4 firm. With the opportunity to be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen, you will work with clients across an impressive range of sectors on both UK and International tax projects.

The team provide specialist tax advice on a variety of complex tax issues (e.g. cross-border M&A, pre/post transaction re-orgs, global tax structure, advising clients on expanding into UK and global markets). As Senior Manager, you will manage a client portfolio and a range of such advisory projects. You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax technical advice and provide support to the wider tax team.

You will manage specialist tax teams (both UK and cross-border) on advisory projects, and utilise your network of overseas colleagues and external advisers to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery. Your ability to develop and nurture strong client relationships will sit at the forefront of this role and you will actively seek business development opportunities in a strategic and targeted approach.

You will be involved in the tender process for new work and will manage proposals, prepare tender documents and present client pitches to identify comprehensive solutions to client issues. You will also have involvement with team management processes including supporting with the recruitment, training and mentoring junior team members.

You will be

• Professionally qualified (CA/ACA/CTA/ACCA) with relevant UK corporation tax and international tax advisory experience gained at Senior Manager level
• An excellent communicator (both written and oral)
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated and a role model for your colleagues
• Commercially aware, with developed analytical mindset and inquiring mind
