Two new opportunities have been created within this growing Corporate Tax team - suitable for a newly qualified solicitor and also a qualified solicitor with up to c5 years of relevant PQE. The successful candidate(s) will be joining one of Scotland's leading independent law firms and could be based out of any office which includes Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. The team is based in Glasgow, however the firm has a very flexible working policy with a minimum requirement of 1 day/week in the office.

The work on offer will include:

• Providing structured tax advice with regards to corporate and real estate transactions.
• Providing tax advice on transactions and the necessary drafting of tax documents - full support/training will be given
• Providing tax support to the employment law team with respect to tax surrounding payroll issues / termination of employment etc
• Structuring and drafting share incentive schemes

For the more qualified role, applicants will have had some exposure to Corporate Tax in a similar role. For the newly qualified role, the team would also consider applicants with an interest in this niche area who would be looking to retrain - a corporate transactional seat or experience in dealing with tax on behalf of private clients would both be beneficial but not essential.
