As their client portfolio and offering is growing and evolving, they are now seeking a new Assistant Manager to join the team. Client service is paramount, and so you must be an exceptional communicator who enjoys fostering strong client relationships and delivering excellent technical advice.
You will oversee an impressive portfolio of clients from a diverse range of sectors, managing deadlines and budgets as well as responding to ad hoc queries. You will review tax compliance and accounting as prepared by team members and offer mentorship and training to aid with their development. Additionally, you will be directly involved with a range of genuinely interesting advisory projects, including transactions, restructuring, capital allowances, demergers and overseas tax matters. As this is a close-knit team, progression opportunity is unlimited and this firm have an excellent reputation for supporting ambitious individuals with their career aspirations.
For those who are keen to strengthen their business development abilities, this role can also offer close working relationships with Partners and involvement with client meetings and proposals. You will also be encouraged to identify advisory opportunities within your own portfolio and introduce colleagues from across the business to collaborate on wider project work.
The firm offers heightened flexibility and can accommodate hybrid, office, or home working preferences, with occasional travel to the office for client meetings, team meetings, and training.
Ideally you will be ATT/CTA/CA (or equivalent) qualified with experience working in UK corporate tax. Experience of working with SME clients would be advantageous. As well as relevant tax knowledge and experience, you will be a confident communicator with excellent research skills and the appetite to increase your tax advisory exposure.
