A rare and exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Advisory specialist to join the Corporate Tax team of a successful and highly regarded legal firm. With flexible working options in place, this role can be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen, with a minimum requirement of one day per week spent in the office.

This is a purely advisory-focused position within an established team of qualified lawyers and CTA qualified tax professionals. Examples of work you are likely to be involved with will include:

• Providing structured tax advice with regards to corporate and real estate transactions
• Providing tax advice on transactions and the necessary drafting of tax documents (Full support/training will be provided on drafting documents.)
• Providing tax support to the employment law team with respect tax-related payroll issues, termination of employment, etc.
• Structuring and drafting share incentive schemes

You must be CTA qualified with demonstrable UK corporate tax advisory experience gained within a Big 4 or specialist tax team (e.g. advisory, M&A, transaction tax, etc.) . Ideally, you will thrive in a fast-paced, changeable role and can demonstrate exceptional technical and communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as strong project management abilities. Experience of producing structure papers would be advantageous

Salary will be dependent on experience and highly competitive (from £47,000) with a generous benefits package.
