A leading UK law firm is seeking a Practice Development Lawyer (PDL) to join its Corporate & Commercial team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing legal practice by driving innovation in document automation, styles and precedents.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the firm's corporate legal services through:

• Document Automation & Management:

  • Drafting and implementing new corporate styles and precedents
  • Leading automation projects using various platforms 
  • Reviewing and updating existing standard documents

• Knowledge & Training:

  • Supporting the development of the firm’s knowledge management systems
  • Delivering internal training and briefings on corporate documentation
  • Assisting with client-facing training and presentations

• Business Development & Collaboration:

  • Creating content and materials to support business development initiatives
  • Collaborating across practice areas and with external knowledge networks
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance client service delivery

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented legal professional with:

• Strong drafting and project management skills
• Experience with corporate legal documentation and precedents
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work
• Familiarity with legal tech tools
• A passion for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
