A new opening for a qualified solicitor to join a top tier Corporate Energy practice based in Aberdeen. 

This Energy Team is the largest UK-based team dedicated to this industry, providing advice to clients all around the world, guiding them through all the problems and pitfalls they face. They advise on all aspects of the energy industry; undertaking M&A (share and asset transactions), on-shore and offshore energy projects, supply chain projects, commercial contracts advice  and provision of regulatory advice.

Acting for five of the seven ‘super major’ oil and gas companies, a host of ‘majors’, NOCs, and ‘independents’, as well as contractors and financial institutions, this Oil & Gas Team is widely recognised as a market leader.

Applicants should be qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 1PQE, ideally with Energy/ Oil & Gas experience but this is by no means essential. The team cover a lot of Corporate and Commercial work so would welcome applicants from these areas who would be interested in joining a top tier Energy practice.

You will have strong academics and trained and gained experience with a city, national or recognised regional law firm.
