A new opening has become available for a Corporate Associate Solicitor to join this global law firm based in Glasgow. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years of PQE gained in corporate finance, M&A (domestic and cross border) and private equity (beneficial but not essential).
The team specialise in the following areas:
- M&A
- Corporate Finance
- Private Equity
- AIM
- Joint Ventures
They have a strong private equity practice operating as part of a national team advising a range of private equity institutions and management teams.
They also have extensive experience of advising on public takeovers, both recommended and contested; flotations/initial public offerings; secondary issues including rights issues, placings and open offers; private placements; corporate governance; compliance with companies, securities and financial services legislation including the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority and the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
There is also the chance to get involved in an increasing amount of cross border work and recently they have undertaken deals in Germany, Hungary, Holland, South Africa and East Africa, United States, Poland, France, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Italy.
