Senior Construction Disputes Lawyer (7+ PQE) – Edinburgh or Glasgow
An outstanding opportunity has arisen at a top-tier international law firm for a talented and experienced Construction Disputes Lawyer to join their award-winning team based in Edinburgh and/or Glasgow.
The Role
You will join a high-performing construction, advisory and disputes group recognised globally for its excellence in the construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors. The work is varied and complex, including live project advisory work and formal disputes involving adjudication, arbitration, litigation, mediation and other forms of ADR, both domestically and internationally.
This is a rare chance to work with some of the largest and most high-profile clients across the UK and globally, including major contractors, developers, public bodies, and funders. You’ll be involved in shaping strategy and delivering innovative solutions across the entire project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:

Have a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in construction and engineering disputes, preferably within a top private practice or a large in-house legal team.

Possess strong technical legal skills and the ability to manage both cases and junior lawyers.

Demonstrate commercial awareness, strong client service orientation, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Be qualified in Scotland and/or England & Wales.

Be passionate about professional development and open to opportunities including client secondments and long-term career growth.
