Commercial Litigation Associate opportunity currently available with one of Scotland's well-known commercial law firms.

This role would be ideally suited to an experienced Dispute Resolution Associate with around 4-6 years of relevant PQE and is based in Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will have a varied role that may include advising corporate and commercial clients, local authorities, public bodies and private individuals. They will be involved in litigation, including advocacy work, as well as all forms alternative dispute resolution.

The key work streams will be:

• Working as part of a close team working on high value complex commercial litigation cases, including competition law cases and group litigations;
• Contentious trust and executry cases, for which the team is ranked as band 1 by Legal 500; and
• General commercial litigation.

You will be responsible for:

• General commercial litigation including corporate disputes and contract disputes
• Intellectual property disputes
• Competition litigation
• Group litigation
• Licensing board work
• Insolvency work
• Tax litigation
• Contentious executries
• Assorted general litigation
• Supporting BD initiatives
