Commercial Finance Business Partner

Salary up to £65,000 (DOE)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation based in Renfrewshire. This hybrid role offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, and Operational teams to influence financial strategy and enhance profitability.
This is a hands-on, business-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys working across the detail while influencing at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Month-End & Reporting: Lead the month-end close process, deliver timely and accurate internal reports, and provide insightful analysis for senior leadership.
- Business Partnering: Support Sales and Commercial teams with customer and product performance insights, cost modelling, and strategic decision-making.
- Forecasting & Planning: Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring transparency across revenue and margin metrics.
- Commercial Projects: Drive financial input into key initiatives and projects aimed at accelerating growth and improving contribution.
- Governance & Control: Strengthen financial controls, support audits, and ensure robust risk management and investment appraisals.
- Systems & Process Improvement: Utilise ERP systems effectively and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes.
About You:
- Ideally a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years PQE
- Strong financial modelling and data interpretation skills
- Proven commercial acumen and ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
- ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent communicator, self-motivated and results-driven
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
