Cloud Security Designer required to join our global corporate client on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be joining part of a new team that focuses on optimising the use of cloud services and technology across the business. You will be a key contributor in leading this new team via your specialist knowledge of cloud security, in order to help design and develop the cloud platforms.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing and reviewing cloud security architectures
- Focusing on the planning and implementation of cloud security strategy throughout the business
- Supporting the build of this cloud security function by providing concepts on Azure platform
- Continuously implementing, monitoring and improving operational security controls
- Collaborating with engineers to work together between IT security, Azure and Infrastructure
Successful applicants will have:
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, including from an architecture and network perspective.
- Microsoft Azure cloud architect/security professional qualifications.
- A hands-on approach working with cloud security projects
- An infrastructure background including strong code experience with Azure well as any other cloud technologies.
- An understanding of Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) into SaaS services.
It is also beneficial for applicants to be working towards or achieved other SecOps certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional.
