Client Account Manager required for the rapidly expanding Fund Services business of our Glasgow based Banking client.  Fund Services provide fund administration business to Hedge Fund clients.  As Client Account Manager within a newly formed team, you will have a direct impact on the success of the business; you will serve as the primary contact to clients offering them the best of service.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Primary daily point of contact for Hedge Fund clients based through-out EMEA
• Accountable for client satisfaction and service experience with the organization
• Assisting the transition team with client fund launches, conversions, fund growth, liquidations and unwinds
• Reviewing and understanding organizational and governing documents of the funds – e.g. fund offering documents
• Ensuring compliance with daily fund accounting procedures and controls
• Performing detailed reviews and coordinating valuation signoff processes with relevant accounting colleagues in other global locations prior to distribution to clients
• Coordinating investor reporting
• Coordinating year-end audit with client and fund’s independent auditors
• Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of the operational service model

Coming from a background in funds Administration, fund accounting or accountancy practice you will have very strong communication and relationship management skills . Knowledge of hedge fund accounting/administration is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written are essential as is understanding client needs and requirements and ability to trouble-shoot and problem solve.
