Change Manager required for the highly progressive Security Settlements of our Glasgow based Financial Services client.
Working closely with the control team in Glasgow and a third-party Vendor located offshore, you will primarily be responsible for CTB/RTB change management processes this includes reviewing and assessing new business requirements, determining mandatory and discretionary change requirements through to testing and implementation. The role will involve co-ordinating with key stakeholders including Operations, Technology & Business Units.
This role is all about…
- Partnering closely with Business Units to enhance client service levels and support business growth
- Working in partnership with internal infrastructure teams including Legal and Compliance, Technology, Operations Risk and Control teams, as well as external regulators and exchanges
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strive for the delivery of commercial initiatives
- Driving the review of the controls and processes in order to reduce operational and client risk
- Driving Settlement performance and efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Helping to shape and execute the Control, Commercial and People agenda for Security Settlements in EMEA
About you…
- Experience in change management and process improvement methodologies within the Financial Services sector
- Technical understanding of transaction lifecycle in Cash Equities & FID and knowledge of regulatory policies & regulations (preferable)
- Proven interpersonal skills and abilities to work extensively across global departments to build and maintain credibility and strong relationships with peers, management, and stakeholder
- Effective team player
- Deadline oriented and able to thrive in high pressure environment
- Strong communication skills
