Bids Finance Manager – Service Sector

Lusona is supporting our client in the service sector to source suitable applicants for this new role in their bid team.
The successful candidate will support large bids and tenders across the division, including franchising. This will also involve coordinating multiple bids, either within multiple tranches of franchise bids or across several different bids, at various stages of the bid cycle.
The role holder will liaise with senior managers across all business areas to provide insight into the requirements and secure the necessary inputs for the financial submission.
The key duties will include:
- Reviewing bid and project documentation to fully understand the financial requirements and impact on financials of non-financial clauses
- Production of suitable financial models to support internal approvals and bid submission requirements, embedding any payment mechanism clauses
- Supporting business SMEs by providing insight and challenge to develop winning initiatives and business cases
- Liaising with Group Tax, Treasury and Accounting teams to ensure financial position includes all current requirements and Group positions
- Supporting the Head of Finance in the governance processes to produce packs and respond to queries from senior stakeholders
- Identifying risks and opportunities within the financial submission including benchmarking of financial and non-financial data at a Bus and comparable business unit level
- Identifying and introducing process improvements and promoting the continuous development of the modelling suite
- Liaising with the Mobilisation team post-bid award to review bid assumptions and Project Agreements highlighting any known risks and opportunities taken within the bid.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous experience in bid support and financial modelling. Candidates will ideally be CIMA, ACCA or ICAS qualified.
