A new opportunity has been created for a Solicitor with up to 3 years of relevant PQE to join the Banking team within one of Scotland's leading independent law firms. The successful candidate will initially work remotely and then eventually join one of the firm's offices in Scotland which includes Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen - at that point a flexible approach will continue to be in place with a mix of office and home based work available.

This role will involve working on a range of matters relating to the banking practice, including in relation to acquisition finance and real estate finance, working for a wide range of borrowers and lenders; and will involve significant exposure to internationally focussed work. The training and opportunities for personal development in the banking team are second to none so a lack of experience should not put you off. The firm would also be keen to hear from qualified lawyers who have a background in corporate work and are interested in retraining.

The most important qualities you must have are the ability to learn, to work hard, to work as part of a busy team and to be willing to take on responsibility. You must be pragmatic and results-focussed, and be able to work under pressure and to tight timescales. Candidates must also have a positive attitude, a focus on quality and a determination to provide a first-class service.
