This global law firm has a new requirement for a Banking Associate to join the Finance team based in Edinburgh. Applicants will ideally have between 0-5 years of relevant PQE.

The firm has invested heavily in technology and is always developing new and better ways of delivering legal services, as well as having a well-resourced Scottish, UK and international training programme to develop their lawyer’s legal and soft skills and to enhance their careers.

The successful candidate will be working on a wide range of interesting and complex financing issues within the corporate and leveraged finance team. As well as debt finance work acting for both lenders and borrowers, there will be a range of other transactions such as securitisations, loan book transfers, derivatives and advisory work on complex finance transactions.

If you have an interest in debt finance and are keen to experience a wide variety of work including with an international focus, please get in touch. The key criteria are enthusiasm and the willingness to work hard within a team and to learn both from working with experienced finance lawyers and from the firm's extensive training programme.  A background in debt finance would be beneficial but is not essential.
