This leading offshore firm is currently looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their Corporate team in Jersey, to specialise in Banking & Finance. Applications will be accepted from Solicitors who have either recently qualified or are due to qualify in 2021.

This firm has a top tier global finance team who deal with a range of work from complex cross-border financing transactions and large loan portfolio restructurings to establishing banks in domestic markets, the banking and finance team has the experience and knowledge to advise on the largest transactions. Each year they advise on loans amounting to tens of billions of pounds for both lenders and borrowers.

They are instructed by clients directly on their international finance transactions and typically work closely with onshore legal teams and have strong ties to London, New York and other major financial centres (with offices in London, Hong Kong and Singapore) and represent clients on transactions at every level of complexity.

You will join a team that is led by 2 of Jersey's leading lawyers and can expect to get involved in an exciting mix of work including international corporate and finance transactions, significant portfolio acquisitions and disposals, acting for both lenders and borrowers on complex financings, refinancings and restructurings, financing of investment funds, real estate finance, restructuring and REITs and advising on various banking regulation matters.
