Based in Glasgow city centre, you’ll be joining a growing, integrated audit team within a well-established professional services firm that has recently invested heavily in its Scottish audit practice
The Role:
As an Audit Senior you’ll sit at the sweet spot between delivery and leadership:
- Being the Senior for a portfolio of audit clients, predominately commercial OMB's.
- Acting as the day-to-date client contact, liaising with Managers and Partners
- Reviewing audit files and ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high technical standard
- Coaching and developing junior team members through on-the-job training and formal workshops
- Identifying issues and opportunities within client businesses and adding genuine value
- Stepping up to lead multiple audit assignments concurrently
What They’re Looking For:
- Qualified or part-qualified CA, ACCA,
- A minimum of 2-years' experience in auditing of owner-managed businesses
- Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
- Someone ready to lead, review and take ownership, not just tick boxes
- Commercially curious — you spot issues and think beyond the file
