Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable)
Job Location: Renfrew, Glasgow
Job Remuneration: £25,000–£28,000 + 33 Days Holiday + Birthday + Study Support + 6% Pension + Free Parking
A growing and ambitious technology group based in Renfrew is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant with a strong interest in Accounts Payable to join their close‑knit Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that has grown significantly and is continuing to scale.
The Role
You’ll focus on Accounts Payable, working within a friendly team of eight finance professionals. The environment is supportive and growth‑oriented, with hands‑on mentoring from an experienced AP specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing around 200 purchase invoices per month
- Managing invoices through the Lightyear scanning and approval system
- Working with Xero
- Handling contractor expenses
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Liaising with internal teams using Workhorse for purchase orders
- Supporting the finance function during a period of ongoing business expansion
About the Team
You’ll be part of a welcoming finance team of eight, including the CFO, Finance Controller, qualified accountants, and other assistants. The team culture is focussed on growth, excellence and fun. It is also

Who We’re Looking For
- Someone at the start of their finance career or with 1–3 years’ experience
- Motivated, curious, and eager to develop
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- A positive, proactive personality and a drive to improve and contribute
Full study support is available for AAT or ACCA.
