Asset Services Associate required for an award-winning Financial Services corporate in Glasgow.
This team is responsible for efficiently managing the processing of all Corporate Events as well as supporting the outsourced vendor team in reconciling and paying dividends to external clients and managing the resulting claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and oversight of both the on-shore and vendor teams
- Drive team goals and hold self and others to account on deliverables
- Support team through regular 1:1s and career conversations
- Attend and drive stakeholder and lender calls
- Daily interaction with the vendor
- Review of daily status updates from vendor
- Risk awareness and escalation to management and other teams
Skills Desired:
- Exposure to trade life cycle
- Background in Financial Services
- Strong Communication skills as the candidate will be expected to develop relationships with the vendor, clients and the Business Unit
- An understanding of escalation
- Proactive team player who actively promotes sharing of knowledge
- Ability to grasp detailed concepts quickly
