An established and growing organisation within the construction sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team. This is a varied role offering exposure to multiple areas of the business, including site administration, document control, and operational support.
Your New Role
In this dynamic position, you will play a key role in supporting both office and site-based activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Compiling case studies and supporting marketing activity, including updating LinkedIn content
- Preparing and maintaining O&M manuals and Health & Safety documentation (site setup documents)
- Managing site administration and document control processes, including uploading construction drawings to SharePoint (or similar systems), version control, and maintaining project folders
- Coordinating and maintaining the training matrix across the business
- Overseeing site branding and assisting with Constructionline accreditation
- Managing vehicle administration and supplier processes, including generating purchase orders and monitoring the supplier ledger
- Acting as the main point of contact for IT queries and managing office supplies and stationery
- Providing general administrative support, including reception duties and ad hoc tasks
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in an administrative or site admin/document control role (ideally within construction or a similar industry)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with document management systems (e.g. SharePoint) and version control processes
- A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
