Senior Accountant required for this highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers in Glasgow. This role would suit a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CA) or an individual qualified by experience, who can successfully manage a varied portfolio of SME clients.

As Accounts Senior, you will prepare both year-end and management accounts for your clients, as well as reviewing bookkeeping and VAT compliance and preparing corporate tax computations. You may also be involved in ad hoc advisory projects and requests and support Partners with complex accounting queries. You will be a key point of contact for clients, attending and assisting with meetings and supporting with onboarding of new clients.

You will be confident using accounting software including cloud-based systems and enjoy supporting junior members of the team, providing review, feedback and mentorship as required. At times you may be asked to support other teams in the business as the firm encourage a collaborative working practice.
