Accounts Senior sought to join the friendly, collaborative Accounts team of this award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers. 

Working with a varied client portfolio and acting as a true client adviser, this is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly-qualified accountant to progress in their career. The team work flexibly on a hybrid basis, with 1-2 days worked from home.

As Accounts Senior, you will have responsibility for a portfolio of clients from a wide range of sectors and sizes across Scotland, including OMB’s, partnerships and charities. You will prepare year-end accounts for your clients, and occasionally visit client offices to provide comprehensive advice and support on their accounting needs. 

As part of your professional and personal development, you will act as a mentor for junior members of the team and review their work. You will also gain exposure to interesting business advisory projects, providing support directly to Partners and Senior Management. 

Ideally you will be a part-qualified, recently qualified or QBE accountant with year-end accounts preparation experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. You will have excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrable passion for managing and developing strong client relationships. You will be keen to join a forward-thinking firm to enhance your career development potential.
