An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Senior to join the Accounts & Advisory team of this established firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow. 

This enthusiastic team specialises in providing an outsourced finance function for their clients (including full bookkeeping duties, VAT returns, and management accounting) providing reporting and advice to encourage business growth and success. Working with clients from a range of sectors including medical, hospitality, agricultural and not-for-profit, the team makes clever use of relevant and up-to-date accounting systems and are proud to be Xero specialists. 

The Accounts Senior will be responsible for managing their own varied portfolio of clients, providing Bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation services. You will manage end-to-end processes, ensuring WIP, timescales and budgets are maintained throughout. You will be a key point of contact for your clients so communication is paramount. You will also provide support to junior members of the team, acting as a role model and mentor to aid in their professional development.

This opportunity would suit a qualified AAT or part-qualified ACCA candidate (or qualified by experience) with experience gained in an accountancy practice, looking to gain exposure to larger or more interesting clients and continue their professional development with the support of a successful training firm. Ideally, you will have experience of cloud bookkeeping systems (Xero, Sage Business Cloud, Quickbooks online) as well as MS Office package and accounts preparation software (CCH would be advantageous)
